What you control here

• The pattern: lesson credit (the default, money stays on the student's account for a future booking) or card refund (refund to the original card outside the notice window; non-refundable inside the window).
• The notice window in hours. For example, 24 hours.
• The cancellation-policy text that appears at booking and in every confirmation email.

How the policy reaches the student

Whatever you set here is shown to the student on the storefront before they pay, and is repeated in their confirmation email after they have paid. The student agrees to the policy as part of booking.
