Run a multi-instructor driving school on one account

One brand on the storefront, one bill at the end of the month, separate diaries underneath. YourADI is built so a two-person school feels as native as a ten-person school.

What “multi-instructor” actually means here

A YourADI school account is one parent record that owns the storefront, the catalogue, the cancellation policy, the payouts, and the subscription. Underneath the school sit individual instructor accounts, each with their own diary, their own students, and their own day-to-day work.

Students experience the school as a single brand. They land on one storefront, pick an instructor (or accept whichever is available), and book. Each instructor experiences the school as their own dashboard.

The three roles

Owner

The owner is the account holder for the school. They control the storefront, the catalogue, the cancellation policy, the integrations and payouts, and the subscription. The subscription bill covers every instructor seat in the school. There is exactly one owner per school.

Manager

Managers are trusted instructors who can administer the school day-to-day without holding the billing. They can invite and remove staff, view all the school's bookings and students, and edit the storefront and catalogue. They cannot change the subscription or the payout bank account.

Instructor

Day-to-day instructors see their own diary, their own students, and the school's shared resources (the catalogue, the cancellation policy, the storefront). They cannot see other instructors' students or change anything school-wide. This is the role you assign to most of the team.

What is shared, what is private

Shared across the school:

  • The storefront and its public link.
  • The catalogue (lessons + vouchers).
  • The cancellation policy.
  • The fleet of vehicles (if used).
  • The subscription and payout setup.
  • Voucher sales and the redemption ledger.
  • Aggregate reviews on the storefront.

Private to each instructor:

  • Their own diary and availability rules.
  • The students they teach (and the notes, progress and lesson history for those students).
  • Their own profile, photo and bio for the storefront.

How to set up a school

  1. Sign up as an instructor in the normal way and go through the Get-Started checklist. Your account becomes the school owner.
  2. Open the Staff section of the dashboard. From here you can invite other instructors to the school by email.
  3. For each invitee, choose their role: manager or instructor. They receive an invitation; once they accept, they appear in your staff list and you appear in their dashboard as the school they work for.
  4. They go through their own profile setup — their photo, their bio, their availability — on top of the shared school context you already configured.

How the billing works

The school subscription is paid by the owner and covers every instructor seat. At €20 per instructor per month, locked for five years, the bill is predictable: add another instructor, the bill goes up by one seat; remove an instructor, the bill goes down by one seat.

All card payments collected through the school's storefront go to the school's connected bank account. If your school splits revenue between instructors, that split happens outside the platform — YourADI does not slice payouts per instructor.

What students see

On the school storefront, students see all the instructors on the team, plus an “Any available” option for students who don't mind which instructor takes the lesson. They pick, they book, they pay — the same flow as a solo instructor's storefront, but with an extra step at the start for the instructor choice.

Common questions

Can a manager change the storefront?

Yes. Managers have edit access to the storefront, the catalogue and the cancellation policy. They cannot change the subscription or the payout bank account.

Can an instructor see another instructor's students?

No. Each instructor sees only their own students and their own diary. Owners and managers can see across the whole school.

Can I demote an owner or promote a manager?

Role changes are made from the Staff section. The owner role is special — transferring it should be done deliberately, since it carries the billing relationship.
