What's new for instructors

Recent changes to YourADI for instructors, with the date each one went live and where to find it in the app.

Our Terms for instructors change on 19 November 2026

Booking fee: your own booking fee is available from 19 November, if you want one. It only applies to bookings and purchases made through your booking page.
Cancelling a booking paid online: you choose between a refund to the student's card and a lesson credit, and from 19 November you see the amounts first.
Your business details: From 19 November, checkout, booking confirmations and receipts show your legal name, any trading name and your business address.

Two-way calendar sync with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook

Live for every instructor since 28 October 2026 (Outlook) and 29 October 2026 (Google)

Connect a Google or Outlook calendar. Your YourADI lessons are added to it, and busy times in the calendars you choose are blocked in YourADI, so students can't book them.

A calendar feed for Apple Calendar or any calendar app

Live since 27 October 2026

Turn on a read-only feed of your YourADI lessons and subscribe to it in Apple Calendar or any other calendar app. It keeps itself up to date.

YourADI on your phone

Live since 29 October 2026

Add YourADI to your phone's home screen and open it like an app. The steps are in Settings → Account → Add YourADI to your home screen.
Push notifications when a booking needs confirming and 30 minutes before each lesson. You switch each one on or off in Settings → Account → Push notifications.
An offline diary: once you've opened YourADI on your phone, your lessons and blocked time for the next 14 days stay readable with no signal.
Students can get their lesson reminders as push notifications too. They turn them on in My Profile in their portal.

Recurring weekly lessons

Live since 27 October 2026

Book a student into the same day and time every week, for 2 to 52 weeks. Clashes are shown before you book, and you can change or cancel a lesson and all the ones after it in one go.

Lessons paid by cash, bank transfer or card in person

Live since 27 October 2026

Mark a lesson as paid by cash, bank transfer or card in person, and change it back if you need to. You can see who owes you money, and these payments count in your income on the Dashboard and Billing pages.

Where to find it: Calendar or Bookings → open a lesson → Mark as paid. Students → Owes money shows who owes what.

Import students from a spreadsheet

Live since 27 October 2026

Upload a CSV or Excel (.xlsx) file, match its columns and check the preview, which flags possible duplicates. Nothing is sent to your students: you choose when to invite them.

Students' test dates and test centres

Live since 27 October 2026

Record each student's driving test date and test centre, and filter your Students list to students with an upcoming test. Students can add their own test date and centre in My Profile.

Where to find it: Students → open a student → Edit → Driving test date and Driving test centre

A sign-in code in students' emails

Live since 29 October 2026

A student's sign-in email now has a code as well as the link. They can enter the code on the sign-in page instead of using the link.

Where to find it: Nothing to set up: it is in every student sign-in email. Your own sign-in emails haven't changed.

Multi-day and all-day calendar blocks

Live since 26 October 2026

Blocked time can run over several days, such as a week off, and students can't book any part of it. Switch on All day to block whole days, from a first day to a last day. Multi-day events from a synced calendar show on every day they cover.
